Hi! Im Sev or Centipede, whatever you prefer. I'm currently a uni student studying Animal Ecology, Entomology and Forestry for my undergrad. My childhood consisted of me always wanting to learn, create, explore. I got a tiny Wacom tablet and Photoshop in sixth grade as a christmas gift and have been digitally drawing ever since. I started out on Deviantart in the late 2010s, migrated to Instagram for a while, tried out Amino, tried out Twitter, and now here I am! I was a weird kid, I still embrace that. What is "being normal" anyways?

☁𖠰 𓆤 PASSION 𖦹 𖠰☁

Currently I hope to persue a graduate degree in medical entomology despite having an autoimmune disease... people depend on medical entomology more than you'd think! I discovered my passion for entomology the summer before my sophmore year of highschool by working at the Peggy Norterbaret Nature Museum in Chicago, my "hometown." All I did that summer was collect specimine all day, and got paid for it. Fastforward to now, I got an internship my sophmore year of college and got to work on bumble bee + wasp biology. I currently do paid research on finding a way to ethically test bumble bees for pathogens: which means collecting bee fecal samples, and work for a graduate student to discover what makes a healthy bumble bee, all under the same lab. I love my job very much.

Although entomology is what i'm most passionate about, I also enjoy animal ecology and forestry. Vertebrate biology, mycology, evolution, dendrology, genetics, forest insects and diseases -- these are all things that interest me greatly. (If you want to get more into evolution and learn a little bit about simple genetics, I highly reccomend "Explaining life through evolution" by Dr. Prosanta Chakrabarty" OR if you want a good introduction to mycology I recommend "Entangled Life: How fungi make our worlds, change our minds & shape our futures" by Merlin Sheldrake! Don't be intimidated, they are easy reads!)

⌞ CREATIVITY??⌝

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. After entering the warrior cats fandom in 2012 I started to draw my own ocs and consume alot of content on Youtube and Deviantart. Whether or not that was good is up for debate, but eventually I become so mentally unwell all I would do is consume media and draw. Eventually I seeked medical attention and have been diagnosed with a plethora of mental illnesses that I won't name - but because of this drawing has become a healthy way to express my mental distress.

I'm a generally happy person, and drawing does make me happy and relieved when needed. I also simply find joy in creating and sharing art. I hope that you find some interest in my characters stories. I recently started tapping back into furry ocs, hopefully you enjoy my animals as much as I do.

Music is also an excellent outlet for emotion. The connection I feel to some albums is unreal. The concerts I attend are life-changing too, I highly reccomend going to any concert you can really! Here are some of my favorite albums, you should give them a listen :P !

⋆✴︎˚｡⋆MEDIA★

Media is extremely important in terms of expressing creativity and understanding what is going on in the world (but also how to change it for the better). I find myself consuming alot of political and creative media most of the time. Some of my childhood media includes Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Minecraft, Warrior Cats, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Adventure Time, Teen Titans, Luigi's Masion (the gamecube ver.), Dragon Tales, Studio Ghibli, and probably a whole lot more.

Currently most of the media I consume is political, but in my freetime I play tons of videogames. I watch shows occasionally when I find the time... but im a busy person so I prefer movies. Subconciously, i'm sure that many of the worlds i've created are based off of media i've consumed... Here are some movies that are very near and dear to my heart.

I absolutely love sandbox games like Minecraft or Animal Crossing. The limitations they are capable of providing also makes it more fun in my opinion. It encourages you to think outside of the box, work with what you're given. Heres some of my all time favorite videogames!
